Two problems we solve

Diabetes care doesn't fail in the exam room. It fails in the other 364 days.

Problem 01

People quit

About half of people on chronic medications stop within a year. Not because the drug failed — because the refill lapsed, the copay surprised them, or nobody checked in.

With Breeze

Shipped on schedule, every month

  • We ship on the 1st or the 15th — you pick, card on file.
  • We text you before every refill, and if you go quiet.
  • Our AI watches your glucose and flags what your team should see.
Problem 02

People overpay

Nearly every chronic med has a copay program, a savings card, or a $4 generic behind it. Almost nobody is enrolled in all of them. With insurance plus the savings card, 97%+ of commercially insured patients pay $35 or less per fill for Afrezza.

Fewer products, each at program price — the DPP-4 and the sulfonylurea here are redundant once mealtime insulin is optimized. Your prescriber confirms every change; we never touch a regimen on our own.

How it works

Four steps from overwhelmed to on autopilot.

  1. 01

    Take the quiz

    2 minutes

Tell us your meds, what you pay, and your A1C if you know it. We build a simplified plan on the spot.

  2. 02

    Meet your clinician online

    Within 48 hours

A licensed clinician reviews your plan, confirms every change, and arranges the lung function test required before starting Afrezza.

  3. 03

Your meds ship on the 1st or 15th

    Every month

You pick the date, we keep the card on file, and we handle copay cards, generics, and prior authorizations behind the scenes.

  4. 04

AI + care team keep you on track

    Ongoing

SMS check-ins, CGM monitoring, and weekly reviews of your post-meal spikes — with a human clinician on anything that matters.

Afrezza requires a spirometry (lung function) test before you start, and it isn't for people with asthma or COPD, or for smokers. We screen for that in the quiz and arrange the test — and if inhaled insulin isn't right for you, our clinicians can still simplify and cut the cost of your current regimen.

FAQ

The questions we get most.

Still unsure? Take the quiz — it ends with a clinician review, not a checkout page.

Is Afrezza right for me?

Afrezza is an ultra-rapid mealtime insulin you inhale at the first bite of a meal. It's a strong fit if you're taking (or should be taking) mealtime insulin and want to skip those injections. It is not for everyone: it's contraindicated in people with asthma or COPD because of the risk of acute bronchospasm, and it's not for smokers or people who quit within the last 6 months. Our quiz screens for this, and a licensed clinician makes the final call.

What's the lung test, and do I have to do it?

Yes — a spirometry (lung function) test is required before starting Afrezza, and repeated periodically after. It's a quick, painless breathing test. Breeze arranges it for you at a lab or clinic near you as part of onboarding, and your results go to your prescriber before anything ships.

What does insurance actually cover?

With commercial insurance plus the manufacturer savings card, 97%+ of commercially insured patients pay $35 or less per Afrezza fill. Most other chronic meds land at $35 or less too, through copay programs or generic substitution. Cash retail Afrezza runs $500+/month, which is what people pay when nobody does this work for them. We do the enrollments, the prior authorizations, and the appeals.

I'm type 1 — can I stop my basal insulin?

No. Afrezza replaces your mealtime (bolus) insulin only. If you have type 1 diabetes you still need your long-acting basal insulin, and we keep it on your plan at program pricing. Never stop a basal insulin without your prescriber.

Who actually prescribes and changes my meds?

A licensed clinician in your state. Our engine proposes a simplified plan — same drug at a better price, a generic swap, or a duplicate flagged for review — but nothing changes until your prescriber reviews and confirms it. Breeze is not a substitute for medical advice.

Can I cancel?

Anytime, from your dashboard, with no phone call and no cancellation fee. Your prescriptions are yours — we'll transfer them wherever you want them.
